April 12 @ 11:30 am – 1:00 pm
Join us on April 12 at the March Field Air Museum to celebrate the courage, and honor the sacrifice, of our Vietnam Veterans.
At the end of March 1973, the last US combat troops left Vietnam – the same month would also see the last of 591 prisoners of war returned to the United States as part of Operation Homecoming.
Despite the courage and honorable service of over 2.7 million Americans, the welcome received at home was not always the one that was so richly deserved. This special annual program at the March Field Air Museum gives our community an opportunity to come together to thank our Vietnam Veterans for their service, to welcome them home properly, to hear stories of their war experiences, and to offer a tribute to the more than 58,000 Americans whose names are enshrined at the Vietnam Memorial Wall.
