Do you like meeting interesting people every day? Do you have skills working with tools, machinery, or your hands? Join the March Field Air Museum as a volunteer! Learn more at an Open House on Saturday, July 15. Talk with current participants and find out all the interesting things you can do! The Open House takes place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the March Field Air Museum. Admission is free.

Come help us Reach for the Skies!

Volunteers are involved in all aspects of the March Field Air Museum and its operations. Docents (volunteers trained in public contact) give guided tours, answer questions, and share information to help the museum's artifacts and exhibits come alive. Volunteers also help fabricate exhibits, perform aircraft restoration work, support collections processing, perform office functions, greet visitors and provide information, staff special events and the research library, and assist with facility maintenance.

We appreciate the contributions and dedication of the museum's volunteers, and we work together as a team to accomplish our mission. Volunteers contributed 25,000 hours of service in 2016 alone! Without its many volunteers, the March Field Air Museum would not be what it is today.

Sound interesting? We recommend that you plan to attend our next Volunteer Open House, an informal event where you'll have the chance to speak with volunteers who work in all of the functional areas listed above. Download a Volunteer application now, mark the Open House on your calendar, and call Annie Lunetta at 951.902.5949 to learn more!
