Up-Close Aircraft Day

Operation Desert Storm Veteran: OH-51 Kiowa

11 a.m. to 3 p.m.


The March Field Air Museum's “Up-Close Aircraft Day” this month will feature the OH-58 Kiowa helicopter. Serving the U.S. military from the latter stages of the Vietnam War until 2017, this long-lived aircraft served in observation, utility, and fire support roles through many conflicts. Every second Saturday through 2018, a different aircraft is featured monthly during "Up-Close Aircraft Days" at the March Field Air Museum! Guests have the opportunity for a close look – sometimes climbing stairs to see directly into the cargo bay or cockpit, other times even climbing aboard. The new Up-Close Aircraft Days takes place every second Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Included with regular museum admission.

Modern Air-Ground Combat

Inland Empire Aviation Roundtable (at the Museum) - 7 p.m.

Join us for a contemporary topic as retired, 20-year U.S. Army veteran Ernie Hicks shares his knowledge of, and insights into, modern air-ground combat. In this presentation, Ernie explains how modern United States military forces attack in an enemy country. Presentation starts at 7 p.m., 60-90 minutes duration. Free parking and admission. Paint the Night Painting Party!

Paint the Night Away with artist Haidee Slack at the March Field Air Museum! Learn how to paint in a fun, stress-free environment - no experience is necessary. Art supplies will be provided, along with instructions, so you can create your own masterpiece! A fun night out with friends, or a perfect date night for couples. We also provide inspiration in the form of wine and hors d'ouevres! Paranormal Investigation Tour

Walk with the Ghosts at the March Field Air Museum! Join professional investigators for a four-hour tour of paranormal sites on the museum grounds. Tours take place from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., with full moon evenings desired.
