Scout Project to paint museum floor areas

Over a weekend, the front entrance floor and the game room floor was cleaned, scraped and given a new coat of paint by the scouts. Below are pictures that show what it was like.

Above you see the worn and scuffed floor, below you see a floor that looks like new.

At this point the front entrance had been cleaned and surrounded with tape. They are about ready to start painting..
Putting together the paint rollers.
All done!

To the right are one of the scout leaders and some of the scouts who worked on the project.
This shows the game room before the paint job.  All these machines had to be temporarily moved out.

This shows the game room floor before the painted it.  Besides the worn scuffmarks, the old paint job had red square blocks that were too small. Notice that the red corners do not touch.
After the floor was cleaned and painted with white, the next day they came back to tape off the edges of where the red paint ends.

This is after the red paint is applied and before the blue tape is removed.
